How it works

A set monthly rhythm that fits around your player’s team, not on top of it.

  • One unit a month

New material unlocks on the first of every month from September. Every player in a stage moves through the same unit at the same time — nobody races ahead of their own season, and nobody falls behind the group.

  • A workbook with every lesson

Two short lessons per unit, each with a workbook and a small piece of homework that turns it into something to actually do this week. Hands-on time is usually well under an hour, spread across the week — not one long sitting.

  • A mentor every month

Every player is paired with a current OHP Head Coach — not an outside hire — for a one-on-one after each unit, typically 20 to 25 minutes. Same mentor all season, and parents are always welcome on the call.

The people behind the curriculum

Every mentor call is with a current Ohio Hockey Project Head Coach — people who have played, coached and recruited at the levels your player is aiming for. They wrote this curriculum out of the same conversations they were already having at the rink, and they are the ones on the other end of the phone each month.
